Virgin America announced that it has inked deals with TV Japan,
Venevision International, KBS-America, TVB and Emphasis (Hong Kong) to
supply a wide array of inflight programming in Japanese, Spanish,
Korean, Mandarin and Cantonese. Virgin America's guests will now have
access to the most foreign language films and television entertainment
on any U.S. domestic airline.

At the start of the winter timetable, Lufthansa will provide personal
in-seat video screens for passengers in Economy Class on long-haul

American Airlines began installing new personal video and audio
entertainment devices for its Business Class cabins on Boeing 767-300
aircraft on March 15, the most recent step in American’s 767-300
upgrade project, which is scheduled for completion by the end of 2007.

Apple Computer Inc. said its iPod media players will be integrated with the in-flight entertainment
systems of six airlines.
Passengers on UAL Corp.'s United Airlines, Continental Airlines Inc.
and Delta Air Lines Inc., as well as Dubai-based Emirates, Dutch
carrier KLM and Air France, will be able to power and charge their
iPods during flights and watch video content from their iPods on
seat-back displays.
