HMSHost Corporation completed the more than $4 million renovation at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC.) The renovation was part of HMSHost’s recently extended food, beverage and retail contract that runs through 2011. Improvements include upgraded seating in the airport’s common areas, a new restaurant with local Salt Lake City history, and the addition of well-known national brands, all of which will enhance the overall airport experience for SLC travelers.

HMSHost Corporation has acquired substantially all of the assets of FoodBrand LLC, a provider of food and beverage concessions at airports and shopping malls, from Mills Enterprises, Inc. and Panda Express, Inc. for approximately $13.3 million, including assumed liabilities.
HMSHost celebrated the official unveiling of the beautiful new West Chevron International Pier at Vancouver International Airport. The grand opening highlighted popular new additions to the airport’s food and beverage offerings. Milestone’s Grill & Bar, Tim Horton’s, Starbucks Coffee, and Pizza Hut are a direct result of a five-year contract extension awarded to HMSHost by the airport in 2006.

HMSHost Europe - part of the Autogrill Group has been awarded an additional seven-year contract to operate and redevelop four food and beverage locations at Copenhagen Airport. Recently, HMSHost officially opened three other food and beverage locations at Copenhagen Airport, including Starbucks Coffee, Ciao and Burger King.
In another move the company has been awarded an additional 10-year contract for a location in Terminal 4 of the Stockholm Arlanda Airport. HMSHost will develop and operate this location through a new partnership with Sweden's oldest and most popular hamburger chain, MAX.

Autogrill Group, through its Belgian subsidiary Carestel Group, has renewed the majority of its food and beverage concession in Brussels Airport. The contract will run for 12 years from February 2007. The renewal involves not only the food and beverage points of sale and vending machines inside the airport but also management of the waiting lounges.
