Gate Gourmet Renews Catering Contract With MyTravel Airways
Gate Gourmet has renewed a catering and provisioning services contract with one of its largest global accounts, charter carrier MyTravel Airways of Scandinavia.
The multi-year agreement will account for the delivery of approximately 1 million meals annually in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, where Gate Gourmet employs about 500 people. In addition to catering, Gate Gourmet will continue to handle tax-free goods sold on board MyTravel flights.
MyTravel Airways is Scandinavia's biggest charter airline, carrying 2.2 million passengers yearly. the company operates out of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland to holiday destinations in Europe, the Far East and Africa. MyTravel Airways is part of the Nordic leasure group Thomas Cook Nothern Europe and inlcudes tour operators such as Ving, Spies, Tjæreborg Rejser and MyTravel Tango.
