Thai Airways President Opens Asia Pacific Travel Catering 2007

On Wednesday 6 September 2007, Asia Pacific Travel Catering 2007 (APTC) held its Opening Ceremony and launching at Royal Paragon Hall. The exhibit range includes food,beverage,amenities,equipment and technology systems for the whole in-flight and travel catering sectors.

APTC 2007 was presided over by Flight Officer Apinan Sumanaseni; President of Thai Airways International, many other distinguished guests including Mrs. Pismai Chandrubeksa, Managing Director of Thai Airways Catering, Mr. William Seeman; Founder President of ITCA, Mr.David Young; ITCA President, Mr. Odd Engebretsen; APTC Director of APTC Conference.

APTC 2007 plays a very important role in supporting the International travel industry through its specialized focus on travel catering service. Exhibitors and sponsors at APTC 2007 included Thai Catering, Bangkok Air Catering, Qantas Airways, deSter, Skysupply and LSG Sky Chefs. The 3 day programme combined the successful ITCA conference with the international trade exhibition attracting trade visitors from over 35 countries worldwide. With the development of Bangkok International Suvarnabhumi Airport, the largest International Airport in Asia, and also the Thai government promotion of Thai food as “The Taste of Asia”.
