No Cash For Inflight Snacks on AA's SFO Flights

American_airlines_logo American Airlines is launching a test on flights departing from San Francisco. For three weeks, passengers won't be able to use cash to pay for purchases made on the plane, including snacks, headsets and alcoholic beverages.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution only major credit cards or debits cards will be accepted on flights out of San Francisco from September 10 through September 30. The airline will ask for feedback from passengers and flight attendants. How will this trial impact the catering revenue?
