Modeled after the popular dining style found in high-end restaurants, Hawaiian’s onboard tasting menu lets First Class customers create their own meal by pairing choices from a wide range of entrees representing different cuisines and featuring unique ingredients.

Californian Man May Go To Prison For Kissing On A Plane

A California man may pay with prison time for a public display of affection on a plane.

Carl Persing was convicted Thursday of interfering with flight attendants and crew members after he and his girlfriend, Dawn Sewell, were seen "embracing, kissing and acting in a manner that made other passengers uncomfortable," according to a criminal complaint.

Air Canada A Blueprint For The Industry?

Air_canada For his frequent trips to Canada, Tom Burke, a Dallas-based consultant, no longer worries about sky-high charges for changing his plane reservation, booking too close to his trip or booking during a peak travel season, reports Barbara De Lollis in USAToday.

Burke last year paid Air Canada a flat $6,858 for 20 flights between eastern Canada and many of the 53 U.S. cities where the carrier operates, including his home airport, Dallas/Fort Worth. That means each round trip costs $686 no matter when Burke takes it during the 12-month life of the deal. He's eligible for free upgrades to business class, and he can book the trip up to one hour before flight time, and change or cancel without penalty.

Continental Airlines Hosts Annual QualityFirst Caterer Recognition Awards

The ceremony was hosted by Food Services Staff VP Sandra Pineau, who recognized cateres and suppliers for their excellent and consistent performance throughout the year. Chairman and CEO Larry Kellner greeted guests and extended appreciation for the hard work and dedication demonstrated by the winning catering teams. Other Continental officers in attendance included Operations Executive VP Mark Moran, Marketing Executive VP Jim Compton; Marketing Programs and Distribution Senior VP Mark Bergsrund, Inflight VP Sam Risoli and Sales Senior VP Dave Hilfman, who served as banque emcee.
