HMSHost Enhance The Columbus Travel Experience

A celebrity chef, a famous burger eatery, a hall of fame, famous pizzeria and the world’s most famous coffee brand will be flying into Port Columbus International Airport.

The extension runs through 2016 and is expected to generate approximately $120 million in incremental revenue for the Columbus Regional Airport Authority which will reinvest the money into airport improvements.

“Our new dining options are sure to be popular with Port Columbus passengers,” said Joe Waller, HMSHost, Vice President, Business Development. “Our goal is to offer an eclectic mix of the world’s most revered brands as well as local favorites, all with exceptional customer service.”

• Quiznos Sub, with their made-to order toasted sandwiches, salads and full breakfast menu, opened recently in Concourse B. Within the next 12 months Quiznos will be joined by the following new food and beverage brands for passengers to enjoy at Port Columbus:

• Starbucks® coffee – In addition to the current Starbucks in Concourse B, HMSHost plans to build two more in Concourses A and C. Starbucks offers passengers fast and convenient access to their favorite beverages -- including espresso-based drinks, brewed coffees, and Frappuccinos^® -- in addition to a variety fresh pastries, sandwiches, and salads

• Famous Famiglia - The official pizza of the New York Yankees, Famous Famiglia offers travelers a wide variety of fresh and authentic style pizzas, pastas, calzones, and strombolies, as well as a healthy variety of salads and desserts. This will be located in the food court.

• Tequiler - Created in conjunction with the world’s premier tequila brand, Tequiler will serve freshly prepared Mexican food with lots of spice and bold flavors and a full selection of beverages in a lively, colorful atmosphere in Concourse A.

• Wolfgang Puck Gourmet Express - World-renowned chef and restaurateur Wolfgang Puck has teamed up with HMSHost to bring his distinctive gourmet cooking to airport travelers. The menu will include unique specialty sandwiches, Wolfgang's signature soups, Spago's Famous Chinois Chicken Salad, and a variety of his celebrated gourmet pizzas.

• Buckeye Hall of Fame Café – Honoring the outstanding Buckeyes inducted into The Ohio State Hall of Fame, the Café is a favorite spot for sports fans in Columbus. The concept will be carried through to the new airport location in Concourse C with the “Hall of Fame Favorites” menu of mouthwatering café sandwiches, fresh salads, along with ribs, steak and prime rib sure to please every appetite.

• Johnny Rockets - Hearkening back in time to the days of the authentic malt shop, complete with hand dipped milk shakes, hot fries and delicious hamburgers -- Johnny Rockets offers a delightful, All-American diner experience in Concource C.

These new concepts will complement HMSHost’s existing dining facilities at Port Columbus International Airport which include Max & Erma’s, Charlie’s Steakery, Great American Bagel, Columbus Brewing Company.
