Tender For License To Manage On-Board Catering and Other Services In Indian Railways

IRCTC invites tender (Two packets - technical bid and financial bid) for award of license to provide catering and other on-board services (cleanliness, supply of bed roll kit etc.) in the following trains from reputed organizations engaged in catering/hospitality business in India.

  • Gorakhpur-Trivendrum, Raptisagar Express, Gorakhpur-Secundrabad Express, Gorakhpur-Bangalore Express
  • Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur & Bandra Terminus-Muzaffarpur Avadh Express
  • Amritsar-Hardwar, Janshatabdi Express
  • Yesvantpur-Ajmer, Garib Nawaz Express
  • Chennai Central-New Delhi, Grand Trunk Express
  • Howrah-New Delhi, Poorva Express
  • Trivendrum Central-Veraval Express
  • Howrah- Chennai Central, Coromandal Express
  • Mumbai CST-Howrah Mail

Citeria:

  1. Must be an invidual or a reputed firm/company duly incorporated/registered for catering/hospitality business for handling food and beverages in India.
  2. Must have a minimum of five years of experience in the field of catering/hospitality business.
  3. Must have minimum Rs. 3.00 crore per annum annual turnover in catering/hospitality and F&B services related business of last completed financial year.
  4. Should have sufficient number of qualified personnel with at least three years diploma from a recognized catering institution in food and hospitality (Hotel Management) in its regular employment.
  5. Should have catering establishments/base kitchens with modern equipment and gadgets.
  6. Should be an income-tax payer.

Tender document: Rs 1,000/- for each train (Rs 50/- extra by post) through cash or demand draft favoring IRCTC Ltd., payable at new Delhi.

Last Date / Time for submission of tender document: 27 Nov. 2006 (up to 12:00 hrs).
